Killwire! Very appropriately closing the night and the battle out last night. This battle was a huge undertaking for all involved and we couldn't have asked for four better finalists. Not only were the great bands and great people, they were very gracious supporting the other bands. Killwire consistently brought it. Tons of great songs, a great live show and a lot of support. Fantastic fantastic band!
Having said that it is paramount that the other competitors get the print they deserve:
Over the Line. A fantastic rock band from the Twin Cities played three fantastic shows getting better with each performance. Awesome group and definetly worth looking at in the future.
Bury the Martyr, long time friends of the label. Absolutely brought their A-game showcasing why they were representing the other half of the metal category. 3 Guitarists and huge sound!
Two Eyes for the Dead, one of the best rock bands we have come across in many years. These guys were extremely original and attended nearly every battle date not only to check out the competition but support the music scene here in the Twin Cities.
with all this being said, Killwire still walked away with the prize and their info will be shared here soon. Come on back now ya here!

They are heavy. Hows that for an introduction? Minnesota based Tech death metal masters Australis' sound can best be described as a erupting volcano being bulldozed by some form of prehistoric seacreature. So its easier to say its heavy.
With their debut Zerobudget Release Eidolon, they have proven that they can translate their live aggression to record as well. Aus... READ MORE
